GALEX herbal teas

Teas are an important part of our culinary culture. It is a drink that brings us together, strengthens and invigorates us, and is our faithful companion in taking care of our health and combating this and that disease.
That’s why teas have always been an important part of the GALEX range, as a key part of our vision, guided by a simple motto – Your health is our inspiration.
We make teas from medicinal herbs in accordance with the guidelines and strict requirements of the pharmaceutical profession.
Herbal teas are available in a loose form – without bags. This type of packaging provides an advantage over products in tea bags because it allows for less fragmentation of herbal medicines, and thus a lower possibility of degradation of active ingredients, better recognition of individual herbal medicines, and easier checking of the composition and presence of foreign particles.
Loose tea ingredients are much fresher, retaining more of the positive effects of the herbs and their natural aroma.
Teas as nature gave them to us
Loose teas remain the first choice of lovers and connoisseurs of this miraculous beverage. There are several reasons.
Throughout history, the invention and widespread use of tea bags has led to easy use and dosage of teas, but has also resulted in improper development of tea leaves.
In order for tea leaves to release all their flavor and active ingredients into the water, they need a lot of space to develop properly. Since there is less space in bags, the quality of the tea is significantly reduced.
The problem was solved in some places by starting to pack smaller tea leaves in tea bags, which required less space, but such tea is of much lower quality.
Take care of your health
Herbal teas are a traditional remedy for relieving mild health problems.
Humans have been effectively harnessing the healing power of plants for thousands of years. Years of experience in traditional use have laid the foundation for the use and dosage of teas, and the effectiveness of treatment is repeatedly confirmed by more recent scientific studies, as we learn about the wide range of medicinal ingredients found in the plant world.
We can use teas made from medicinal herbs:
- As a beverage (oral use)
- As compresses and baths for various skin problems, haemorrhoids
- For gargling for oral and pharyngeal mucous membrane problems
- For inhalation in colds
The method of preparing teas depends mostly on the characteristics of the herbal drugs they contain, as well as the desired effect and purpose of use.
The correct use of our teas is described in the instructions for use, which also include all other necessary information to ensure safe and effective use of the product.
Only carefully selected ingredients
Our teas are made from medicinal herbs – herbal medicines of strictly verified quality and from verified suppliers. The term herbal drug in pharmacy refers to dried, fragmented or dried, cut medicinal plants or their parts.
To ensure the appropriate quality of herbal medicines, proper conditions for growing, harvesting, drying, crushing, storing and transporting herbal medicines are necessary. Each batch of herbal medicine is accompanied by an analytical report upon delivery, which includes tests for the content of active ingredients, the presence of pesticides, heavy metals, aflatoxins, microbiological contamination, etc.
The prescribed quality parameters of herbal medicines must be in accordance with the European Pharmacopoeias.
Before being used in production, the quality of herbal medicines must be thoroughly tested in the Control and Analysis Laboratory using prescribed analysis methods.
