Uses of Castor Oil for Hair, Skin, Eyelashes, and Nails
Hair care – Apply castor oil with your fingertips to the scalp and hair ends, avoiding the full length of the hair to make rinsing easier. Cover the hair with a plastic cap and wrap with a towel. Leave the oil on for 15–20 minutes or overnight, then wash your hair with a regular shampoo. Repeat the process once a week for 6 to 8 weeks.
Skin care – The oil penetrates deeply into the skin and helps maintain its natural moisture. It can be used to improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, contributing to a healthier and more nourished look.
Eyelash and eyebrow care – To strengthen and support the growth of eyelashes and eyebrows, apply castor oil with a cotton swab or a clean mascara brush before bedtime.
Nail care – Regularly massage the oil into your nails and cuticles to help strengthen the nails while softening and nourishing the cuticles, which may reduce breakage and splitting.
