The ointment creates a protective film that prevents moisture loss, while intensely nourishing and soothing the skin. It is suitable for daily care of dry, irritated, or sensitive skin, especially in the diaper area, in skin folds, or on dry patches.

Why does diaper rash occur?
Diaper rash (inflammation of the skin under the diaper) is a common issue in babies and young children. It appears as redness, irritation, and sometimes even skin damage in the area where the skin comes into contact with diapers.

Prolonged contact of skin with urine or stool – moisture and aggressive substances from urine and stool damage the skin’s natural protective barrier, leading to irritation and inflammation.
Use of harsh detergents or soaps – residues of laundry detergents, soaps, or fragrances on clothing or skin can cause irritation, especially on sensitive skin.
Allergic reactions – the skin may become inflamed in response to certain lotions, creams, diaper materials, or wipes.
